If a travel agent were to tell you that he’d book a trip for you to a holiday summer resort, with beautiful beaches ranging from large open beaches to stunning rocky beaches with impossible formations, a beautiful countryside, green and vibrant, and an active nightlife, complete with a warming people and excellent tourist facilities, could you guess where he was sending you?
You’re probably thinking something tropical like Thailand or Hawaii or perhaps a Mediterranean island like Ibiza or Santorini. But there’s an unlikely destination that fits in that description: the county of Dorset, in the South of England.
It’s true that the English summer isn’t as warm as those of places closer to the equator. But it’s also true that quality means more than just super warm weather. Dorset facilities are simply top notch, with the beaches being extremely well kept and the countryside is just stunning. Dorset hotel rooms come in a huge variety, and with excellent quality.
There’s really not much room for discussion when it comes to price even. Flights to England are super cheap if you can find a low cost carrier and book early enough, and a trip to Dorset by train or bus will by no means break the bank.
